[Dixie Flatline]

Well, even though I'm not a vinyl listener myself, I find this more than a little stomach-turning:

Record Bowls

VPI or Music Hall needs to release a low-cost "My First Turntable" to get to these kids before it's too late... (VPI CubScout?)

I'm okay with it. It's better than just throwing worthless vinyl in the trash. Makes vinyl more a part of our lives.

Recordplayersplus, certainly a pro-vinyl site, sells them.

I guess what really bothered me was the implication that this was a creative use for an otherwise worthless object -- there's no suggestion that someone might still actually want to listen to a record...

You can always use them to slice the heads off zombies.

You can use them for keeping squirrels out of birdfeeders too. Hang up a string with the birdfeeder sandwiched between two vinyl albums. Squirrels have trouble getting past the albums.

wouldnt the squirrels claws act as a needle if scratched in the rite direction?

I have some Squirrel Nut Zippers on vinyl. Those should be perfect.
