A "budget" IEM for ipod touch

There are two UE super.fi 5 models: the super.fi 5 EB and the super.fi 5 Pro. The super.fi 5 EB has two drivers, a dynamic driver for the bass and a balanced-armature driver for midrange and treble. However, this IEM emphasizes bass a bit too much, and many people don't like them. The super.fi 5 Pro uses two balanced-armature drivers, and has a pretty flat bass response.

I would definitely recommend the Denon AH-C700. I prefer the dynamic driver over armatures in this price range. The bass and treble extension is much better. I find them less fatiguing also. The isolation is not as good as IEMs though. Not a huge difference, but I'd be lying if I told you they were the same. $169 shipped:
