I just wanted to thank Audeze for their unparalleled customer service. I bought an el -8 April of last year. I started to have the loose connector issue and the treble sounded very "shrill". I emailed audeze with my concerns and they promptly responded with an email instructing me to return the phones for a brand new pair no questions asked ! They then in turn 2 day aired the new phones. I listened to the "gen2" el 8 open back tonight and wow what a difference! It sounded like a completely different headphone. Good tight bass and a very airy but not sibilant top end.
The customer service I experienced from Audeze should be the envy of all other companies. They have a customer for life. Thank you to Chris Berens and all the Audeze staff for an A++ experience.
