Anyone have some good recommendations for a output selector switch in a setup where I have a Schiit BiFrost and a Valhalla and I switch from the Valhalla and AudioEngine A5+.  I'm constantly swapping the plugs in the back of the BiFrost between these two devices and I'm looking for something more sustainable.

thanks for the input!

You could make one yourself quite economically with a DPDT switch from Maplins.

Although probably the best solution would be to swap the simple but expensive  DAC and head amp with a audio interface capable of outputting two or more stereo programs simultaneously. This would have the additional benefit of allowing you to optionally output different programs to both the speakers and headphones.

The least expensive model I know of is the Native Instruments Audio 2 @ ~$100.An  RME Babyface @ ~ $700would be best if you can afford it. Loads of options in between. I use a MOTU Ultralite which is fine.

The other alternative if you want a pro quality solution is the Mackie Big Knob. I'm not making this up. Check it out.
