I have a Energizer 9volt charger that came with NiMH batteries, and i have a radioshack NiCAD 9V that i had been using in another DIY project with a built in charging circuit. Can i put the NiCAD in the Energizer charger?

If they're both for the same voltage batteries, yes. I make that qualification because there are 6, 7 and 8-cell "9V' rechargeables, with 7.2V, 8.4V and 9.6V nominal voltages. If the charger is for a 7.2V battery and you try to make it charge a 9.6V battery, it probably won't charge fully. If you tried the reverse, it may work fine, depending on the charger design, or it may not.
