Hi all! Nice to be part of such an inspiring forum (first post)

.

Well, my first question is if anyone has made a test between 9V batteries, different brands, manufacturing techniques (alks. vs nimh, for ex.). Since portable amps are a growing market, I thought some relevant testing would be of interest.

I found this:
Rechargeable Battery Review-9v NiMH Rechargeable Battery Performance Tests and Comparisons
Dont know how they did that specific test, but my guess is that they have used a constant load, and not dynamic.

One contender caught my interest though:
iPower | 9V Li-Polymer 500mAh Battery | IP9V500 | B&H Photo Video

Notice that the Mah has increased to 500! And it´s Rechargable! Normally, big warning signs flash you about recharging when the word "Lithium" is near.

Has anyone tried it? In an amp, that is...
