I was lookin trough the headphone reviews on ipodlounge.com. I came across some Ultimate Ears UE-10's. These things look so messed up, and are $900.00! Does anyone have these....Is the sound worth 900.00? Heres a link..

As expensive as some members' rigs are on this forum, I would be absolutely shocked if someone bought these or paid anywhere near that much for IC's. Even the heavy hitters like bozebuttons, ayt999, and akwok

I'd expect two bikini models to jump out of the packaging of those cables for that kind of money.

Actually, I think according to most laws in the lower 48 states, except maybe nevada, the most they can legally do for you is jump around.

Interesting. Maybe somebody here should do a review of them? I've also heard there's some other similar phone by a company called Sensaphonics or something. I wonder how they compare with these Ultimate Ears thingamabobs. We should look into this and do comparisons.

I dont think that 900 is all THAT much money to pay for something...if it's something you're really interested in.

For me....I simply can not wrap my brain around the THOUSANDS of dollars some people spend on Sports memoribilia. Or on some old pair of shoes that Humprey Bogart wore. Or anything else that is deemed "priceless". WHY? Because I'm not in to sports or old movies. Who frickin' CARES about an old baseball bat that was used to bring in the tie breaking run from some old ball game in 1949?!!

At least the UE10s actually DO SOMETHING!

Plus...the 900 bucks is applied to the quality of the headphones themselves. In other words: $900 UE10s sound better than the $7 headphones they give away on a JetBlu flight the same way a $115,000 BMW is a better car than a $12,000 Toyota. When you drive it...you will see where that extra money went.
