It was a great event last year and hoping it is even better this year.

What kind of source(s) are you guys bringing? Laptop, digital music player, CD player? I don't want to carry my laptop so I'll need to decide what medium I should put my music in. I'm guessing it's CDs.

Please forgive this naive question, but I'm a total newbie...

What kinds of activities go on at ChiUniFi? Do vendors display their wares? Do members bring their kit so others can listen? Are there presentations? Are ChiUniFi events sort of like "mini-Can-Jams"?

The main driver is for Chicago and surrounding areas Head-Fiers to get together and share their experiences and give others a chance to listen to equipment they maybe interested in.


There usually are a few local vendors but the vendors are not the driver of the event.


The only activities are listening to gear and having great conversations with the other head-fiers. Oh, there is a small raffle at the end of the meet.

I think we were at 10 last year as well.  However, I would say the earliest would be in the 9:30 range as we usually have to get them to get all the tables out as last year we used every last table they had for the meet.
