Hi,

Can someone tell me if these are the same 7868 tubes used in a Fisher 400 Receiver?

Thanks,

Barry

Yes, this is the same 7868 tube used in the Fisher 400 receiver and X-100-B/C amplifiers. The 7868 is a beam pentode power tube. The Novar designation describes the all-glass construction and the base pin configuration of this fairly compact (for a power tube) design. This tube was also used in a line of Public Address(PA) amplifiers from Bogen, and also in some 60s vintage jukebox amplifiers.
