Does anyone know of an internet resource that has a lookup table for 74x series logic's functionality? I'm looking for something that has the part number on the left column (74x164) and a general description of its functionality on the right (8 bit serial to parallel shift register w/ asyncronus clear.) Seems like it should be easy to find, but I sure can't seem to. Thanks.

Not exactly what you wanted but with the cunning use of [ctrl]+[F] it will work like you want.
