All I have now consists of Zeppelin, Queen, and Aerosmith's Toys in the Attic. I'm looking for classic that has that great 70s sound including that crunchy, tubey guitar tone. Very easy to recommend but I'm a child of the digital age, so recommend away.

EDIT: looking for album recommendations.

Its more 80's, but I always had a soft spot for Def Leppard. My mom has always played them in the house since I was a youngin' and I always loved the way their guitar sounded.

Boston - self-titled (if you get this make sure it's the remaster by the founding member Tom Scholz (who did everything on the album but the vocals) released in 2006)

Cheers!

Grand Funk Railroad - Grand Funk
Mountain - Climbing! (Leslie West doesn't have the greatest voice, but he can sure play the guitar)
Black Sabbath - Paranoid (or any of their first 4 or 5 albums)
The Who - Who's Next (and Live At Leeds, if you like live albums)
Deep Purple - Machine Head
Van Halen - Van Halen
