I'm looking for my first tube amp, and reviews on head-fi have shown me some tubes (like the 6SN7) that are easily rolled.

Does anyone have information about these two tubes? I've found info on the 6C19, which is the power tube. Made by at least Sovtek.

I can't find any information about the 6J1 though.

Do these tubes have equivalents?

6J1 is a pentode used to amplify RF signals. As noted above it's European equivalent is the EF95, or the higher quality M8100. US equivalents are: 6AK5, 6AK5W (better quality), 5654 (add W and SQ for better quality types), 403A and 403B, and the Soviet tubes, made by Voskhod, the 6J1P and 6J1P-EV.

Sovtek may produce a 6C19 tube (the English form of this is 6S19). But the main manufacturers of New Old Stock tubes (NOS) were the SVETLANA and ULYANOVSK factories. If SOVTEK are producing a tube it will probably be either a re-badged SVETLANA or ULYANOVSK, or would be produced using their machinery.
