Hmm, i wonder what we can expect from this? I don't see Apple, Rio or Creative upgrading their slim line mp3 players with this drive, but maybe some other brands?

Actually, Creative announced that they would be releasing the Zen Micro in different capacities including 4 GB and 6 GB

i wonder what that 1gb flash micro is going to look like...very interesting...

I think it will look probably look the exact same, just have a 1GB instead of 5.

Would be nice if some DAP maker would take 1GB flash arrays and stack them in a microdrive player housing though. Mmm, battery life.

Yes, but whit flash based player you can use that while running,skiing etc... without worrying about damaging the disk.

i doubt it..much of what dictates the size of harddrive players is the actual hard drive. flash players are much smaller. I would certainly hope they wouldnt make a flash player as big as the micro....though it's possible

Actually I believe that the 1 GB flash Micro will be the same size as the hard drive Micros.
