I know its not ideal combination but I'm tempted to buy this tube amp with 600 ohm output. Mainly because it's a great deal for 150 bucks and it uses all premium parts. Just how bad the sound quality will be affected by using 600 ohm amp to drive 300 ohm headphones?

According to Bruce Heran of Oddwatt Audio, he recommends 600 ohm transformer to use with 300 ohm cans. He is very well respected in DIY community.

600-Ohm output impedance headphone amplifier?
Or a headphone amplifier rated for headphones up to 600-ohms?
What is the make and model of this tube amp?
