Will applying a 6.3mm to 3.5mm adapter to full size headphones (senn hd650, fostex th900 mk2) degrade the audio performance versus using just the 6.3mm?
If it conducts it'll work, but adapters can fail and have bad connections that work sporadically, which is annoying. So it's a question of "do you accept higher risk of failure because there is more crap in the way" more than "is extra metal bad for sound quality"
