Less than three days until the meet! Can't wait. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.... Oh yeah, and trying out some awesome gear.

Please vote if you have not done so already. If needed, please update your vote. I base my food order on votes.

Let me know if you want something specific from Panera. I'll do my best to accommodate.

We have a Bifrost 2 coming as well for the Lyr+ stack.

If you have not been to a meet before, there are a few minor points of etiquette.

1) Have fun
2) Please be respectful with people's gear. Some of this stuff is one of a kind and/or super expensive.
3) Always turn down a source all the way before plugging in or unplugging headphones. Most of this stuff has protection but some don't. Even with protection, there could be issues.
4) Please ask the owner of the gear you are trying if you want to change something or have questions.
5) Don't eat or drink near people's setups.
6) Table space is limited so keep your stack as compact as possible. You can always expand later if there is more room
7) We MUST be completely out the door by 5. They need to clean and set up for another group coming in at 6. Shut those wacky tube amps off a bit early to let them cool.
8) We have local files on iPads. That said, I'm happy to connect another source or your source so that you can hear what you know to properly evaluate gear.
9) Please avoid using makeup, hair products, aftershave and cologne. These can stain and leave permanent fragrances on pads and headbands.
10) Make friends. Make connection. Most importantly, see rule #1!

My name is Gene. I'll have my black Schiit Happens shirt on. Schiit and I want feedback on how we can make this better for you. We are hosting these meets to give back to the audio community and want to make it the best we can.

I've decided on bringing the DNA Stellaris over the Apex Teton since I've been using it more lately and it pairs better with a wider range of headphones. I'll be feeding my dac with some local files on my laptop but if you have any other usb-c source you want to plug in that'll be fine too.

I still plan on bringing all of the headphones I mentioned earlier but might bring a couple extras too like the yamaha yh5000 which is a recent purchase and I'm curious what others think since it sounds a bit odd .

See everyone this weekend.

Will be bringing my lcd 2 pre fazor, lcd xc bubinga, Mr speakers alpha prime, and of course the KPH40s.

This is also my first audio meet, taking the day off to make the trip! I'll be bringing my Ananda Nano headphones along. Still new to all of this but excited to learn and hang out with some cool people
Nice! Glad you can make it.

Ok folks... I'm ordering lunch. We are doing individual assorted hot and cold sandwich boxed lunches from Panera. They come with chips, cookie, and a sandwich. There are default assorted bundles but I can add and subtract stuff if someone has a preference. I have one custom order already so feel free to reach out to me if you want something specific. I'm also getting assorted drinks.

Order now of forever enjoy your veggie sandwich! ;)

I'll be there at 9:30. Usually we can't get in before that but they said they would open a bit early.

I guess I will be bringing stuff to the meet after all. I just received my Magni+ and Modi+ as well as my SJY Closed Carbons last night so I will be bringing those in the afternoon.

Does anyone have a 4.4 to 1/4" adapter by any chance? Cause I don't have one yet to bring lol

Or a dual 3.5mm to 1/4" cable works fine as well. Still new to this whole audio thing so I don't have all my cables/adapters in line yet.

I have a ton of adapters. I'll bring them. I have a xlr to 1/4 and then xlr to 4.4. Wont be pretty but it will work.

I'll be there.

I'll be bringing my primary work desktop gear which consists of:

IanCanada Rasperry Pi based streamer DAC with dual ESS ES9038Q2M > Apos Gremlin Amp.

Streamer DAC is loaded up with Volumio with local library of about 500GB worth of FLAC.

I'll also either bring Krell KSA-5 Klone (https://hansvt.home.xs4all.nl/pdf/brochures/ksa5.pdf) or Cavalli EHHA Rev A (https://solderworksaudio.wordpress.com/ehha-rev-a/)

Both of which I don't have at work, but will be set up with same streamer/dac.

Phones:
DCA E3
Audeze LCD-MX4
Hifiman Arya Organic

See you there!

Super weird question: can I bring Bismarck? He’s the most chill dog that loves all humans? I’m having some logistical issues popping up IRL, and that option might be helpful to me. If not, I understand completely.

Cutie! I love dogs. We just lost our beloved Golden Retriever Heidi two weeks ago. Heartbroken.

I'll ask. The hall rules don't specifically exclude it. I also need to check on the Schiit.

No promises but I will TRY!

Edit: After some thought, it might be best to leave him at home. As much as I would like to have dog there, I don't know if everyone else would be comfortable. I hope that's ok.

Edit 2: There IS wifi at the venue. Not sure on the speed. Password is on the wall.

Cool. Thanks for considering. Very sorry for your loss; we’d be devastated. Golden’s are great dogs also. Default to LOVING all humans and CHILL. Perfect dogs. Always loved Retrievers and Spaniels (any) for that reason.

Awesome! Makes it easier to use music we are familiar with
