I've had my 5G for a month. The hold button has sunk into the case enough that I can't move it from locked to unlocked without working my fingernail into the gap to move it. Has anyone else had this problem?

Nope. Sounds like a big problem though. I'd call Apple support or go to the nearest Apple store, ASAP.
