In the oft quoted and reffered to article, Joes Tube Lore, he talks about a RCA blackplate 5751 which he calls the silver clip version. This is a 3 mica tube with quite large wavy clips locating the plates top and bottom.
I've just picked up 4 nos GE triple blackplates with the same clip formation.
These are all dated 1953. JG-5751 in white boxes.
Did RCA make tubes for GE or did both these manufacturers use this unusual
arrangement?
I have about 14 other New and NOS 5751 by various manufacturers and none have this layout.
New to tubes so interested in gaining as much info as possible.
