For the Dynaudio BM12 MKIII preamped monitors i just ordered, I'm looking for a maximum 500-600$ DAC with coaxial and optical SPDIF Input, USB input, Jack output. The Monitors need XLR Output also, but i'm looking for something very versatile as i might use the DAC for other purposes.
 
 I'll mainly use the monitors with my Mac (So the USB input..). What could be my possibilities ? many DACs i see (ex schiit) don't have both XLR  and jack outputs so i don't know where to look.

Thanks for the replies, as for 800-1000$ DACs, are they useful or hard to see a notable difference ?

i'd suggest a schiit multibit bifrost ($600) with a schiit sys ($49) for volume control.  the manual for the bm12 says using a rca to xlr adapter is fine.  should sound sweet!
 
if you want to absolutely keep it under $600, then get the regular bifrost for $399 and upgrade to the multibit when you've got extra cash.
