I listen to nearly anything, I'd like a pair of cans that offer Soundstage, bass, mids, and highs.

The source driving them will be my phone (Atrix 2), consider that.

I can care less about aesthetics, or design (open back, semi, closed)

Currently considering the following:

KSC75
ProDJ100
HARX700

The only pair I have that would probably fit your requirements (cost) is the Superlux 668b. The soundstage is pretty good, the bass is punchy enough, and it's quite a decent all-rounder.

The only problem would be whether or not you would be able to drive them with your phone...I'm sure more experienced members could answer that question for you.

I own the Ksc75 and have struggled with the fit. The sound doesn't particularly impress me either.

Hi there

I would recommend the Samson SR850 / SR950 similar to the superflux but you can get them with velour pads so are much more comfortable. I own a oair myself and still enjoy to listen to them now and them considering they are bang on the $50 you wont get anything sounding better for that price.

Im hearing both are sortof hard to drive from a portable device, and that need modding to get a good sound, (dont have money for the mods).

Any other suggestions?

how do the ProDJ100 compare to the Samson sr850?

Also how about HARX700 vs ProDJ100?
