The iMod seems to be a good investment sound wise, but due the fact that the supply of 5.5G iPods sooner or later will diminish, I was wondering what impact that would have on the battery-supply? Or are there other manufactures of iPod 5.5G compatible batteries?

cameron sino seem to make the best batteries for a range of players.

Can be found on ebay for a very reasonable price.

Whatever you do, do not buy and 'stock up' on Li-Ion batteries. They degrade over time and will eventually hold less charge. If you do, keep the charge level at around 40% and store them in a cool place.
