How many Head-fi'ers are there?
41,000+ No way! It's just a registration!
In the past I visited several sites (e.g. Dell)
and because they required registration I did register.
But as of today
1. I do NOT remember what sites I registered to
2. What were my nicknames/names
3. Passowrds
etc...

Look how many people have ZERO, One, .... posts.

So HOW MANY Head-Fi'ers exist? Under 10,000????
The Head-Fi.org Admin should know.

I exist

although i have only 4 posts on headwize.

speculation: most have no posts, lurkers, or ask one question and leave... or used it to get into head-fi deals like the Headfive, HF-1 or some headroom promotion.

You can search for member with at least 10 posts if you go to the member list and do an advance search for members. There is 9668 member with at least 10 posts and 13078 with at least 5 post

If you search for last post is after july 1st

There is 3241 user that posted something in july

EDIT: As for lurker when you go to the member profile it list the last activity which is the last time they visite the forum. You can't search them but you can list them sorted by last activity. There is ~1500 which activity is not recorded they have no last activity I think they are in invisible mode. There is ~6200 user that log in the forum within the last month by sorting list by last activity and finding the last user that has an activity on july 1st.

The best is NOT to judge by posts ONLY, but by posting and ACTIVITY within, say, last 6 months.
If during the last 6 months there are, say 8,876 people with at least one or two posts,
then we know there are 8,876 active members.

Therefore the number 41,000+ is MEANINGLESS!

So how many (Active) Members have posted in the last SIX months???

He doesnt, he keeps making these threads to *intentionally* piss people off. Apparently his daughter left over a gilmore lite or something, I dunno.
