I'm considering taking the CIEM plunge!! Not having had much experience with customs, I am looking at spending $400 - $500 and am wanting some advice as to whether a custom is going to get me similar or better sound quality than a universal at this price. I am wanting the best sound possible whether that be from customs or universals, however the value of customs appeals as I seem to have unusual ears and therefore often have fit problems! I listen to electronica, jazz and some indie/rock and my EPH-100 seems to hit the mark in terms of sound signature. I have been considering the JH5, any other suggestions would be welcome.
