I completed my microphone mod on my AD700s, but the connectors don't fit together correctly, the left side and especially the microphone go out if it's not angled perfectly.

The connectors I'm using are these:
http://www.showmecables.com/product/35mm-trrs-jack-panel-mount-connector-metal.aspx?link=YMAL - the only TRRS female panel mount connector I could find
And I tried both http://www.showmecables.com/product/3-5mm-Plug-TRRS-Connector-Plastic.aspx?link=YMAL and http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E3GLBEG/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3AMUAP5I0HNIQ on the cable.

I have 2 ideas; either this type of female connector and hope it works better, or should I use mini xlr connectors?

Are these good?
