Like the topic title says, which one sounds better?
I currently have the Clip, but it doesn't have gapless playback.. C'mon, it's 2008.
Any respectable player should at least have gapless playback.
I listen to alot of DJ mixes and other gapless album, and the Clip kinda ruins it.

So, SQ-wise, will there be a big difference?

I own both a 2nd gen iPod Shuffle and a Clip, and unless the newer Shuffles have a different chipset, the Clip sounds far better: tighter bass, more treble detail, much larger soundstage, etc.

I do agree that the Clip should have gapless support. That, combined with a Micro SD slot, would make the perfect ultra-portable DAP...

The sound quality IS great. I've tried it with my E4C and my HD25-1 and it sounds awesome. Anyway, I'll keep it and pray for gapless firmware to arrive soon.
