No manual and digital both have same accuracy. See my previous comment.

But I guess it does eliminate unnecessary human error when taking impression, doesn't it?

3D printing shells is different from taking impressions via scan. I doubt anyone in your area scans ears, that's not so mainstream yet.

3d scanners don't cover all regions of canal and there are algorithms which correct it. You can consider it digital error.
