I'm looking to get some new headphones. I'm currently using the apple headphones that come with the iPhone's and they suck.

I'm looking to spend no more than $350.

Bass is important, but not worth sacrificing sound quality.

I've heard Bose are good.

Could I get some suggestions and a reason why? Thanks!

I also can't stand those Apple earbuds. I see people walking around wearing them all the time and don't understand how anyone could listen to them. I own the Bose QuietComfort 15. Though I enjoy it enough, I regret getting it, because at the time of purchase, I did not realize how noise cancelling drastically reduces sound quality, and that there are many better headphones in the price range.

The Focal Spirit Professional ($349) is well worth checking out due to a very neutral frequency response, yet with punchy bass.

Maybe the Audio Technica ATH-WS99 ($200).
I like the Audio Technica sound and I've heard the WS99s have a lot of bass.
