Hey there,
i got a question.
We all know a lot of old good DAC chips like PCM63 or D20400 Ultra Analog which work and support up to 24bit. But obviously enough, big players are now using new staff, which supports up to 64bit. Like Antelope and etc. So, the question - what staff they are using? Anyone? Or at least any info where i can find that info is welcome. I wanna my own 64\384 DAC with blackjack and hookers.

I haven't heard the latest round (past 2-3 years) of DACs but in 2007 I audioned a $3000 DAC that had amazing measurements in stereophile next to an old parasound 2000 I borrowed with that Ultra Analog DAC and after a day to warm up (the UA component has all kinds of temp stabilization) the ultra analog was the obvious winner. Believe me I wanted the newer DAC to win if anything I was biased against the UA. But nope. I plan on audioning a Schiit and the new Benchmark 2 sometime this year.
