Okay I just got my new 325's and belive me they are great sounding.... already without breaking in.
However this is what I noticed was... hey the bass kinda wasn't what I thought it would be.
However... I took some cheapo pad's from my 2 buck old headphones lying around in my drawer and cut holes in them and put them on. They fit quite well and I revered it so it is vey very thin. I put them on and I was like man.... the bass was absolutely krazy... but I don't know if's it's just me, or did the sound get more warm than before (still alot of detail) but not the same kind of krispy treble....
what I haven't tried is to see whether or not I lose any binaural affects or sound stage, but it still sounds pretty darn good.
What I am wondering is.... is this the same kind of effect I would recieve if I picked up the sr-60 pads?
btw---with this I think I get more of a rs-2 type sound with more bass....
