I woud just like to reiterate here again that the user's satisfaction with their LISTENING EXPERIENCE is most important.

If it ain't broke don't fix it.

If you want to try to upgrade the quality of your compressed audio, go for it and stay with it it actually SOUNDS BETTER.

Equipmet used is important too...I use a Karma, and used to use a JB3, and feel that EAC w/ LAME -APS is excellent for portable listening w/ portable amps and cans.

I am looking at going mostly lossless myself now that portability is not an issue. [I use either the PSP or a portable radio on the go now]
