Hi

I'm thinking about buying the 32 ohm version of the DT770 and I was wondering whether amping would improve such low-impedance cans?

Thanks

Probably too general of a question... But IMHO yes, if nothing else than to color the sound.

Actually most low-impedance cans of at least decent quality improve when amped, and there are a couple of 32 ohm ones that do so quite a bit, like Philips SBC-HP1000s or Grado HP1000s.
