I will definitely join up if there's a meet. Also, dweaver too is in Calgary and can come at the meet, and he has a lot of gear.

If its in May I'll be back in town and might be interested in coming back. My gear is essentially unchanged from the last meet I was at with Robin and dweaver though. Now that I've got some free time I'm slowly starting to get back into the head-fi community

Dweaver told me that last time it was held at the CPL in downtown, and they rented a room and everyone threw in 10$. I'm down with anything close to a train station to be honest, 'cause I don't have a car.

Yeah it was at the downtown library on the weekend if I recall correctly. Fairly quiet and small get together but it was fun nonetheless. We were on limited time though and I found myself having a hard time balancing chatting with other head-fiers and actually doing some critical listening. If you guys do plan something though I'll be more than happy to swing by. Who knows, maybe I'll have a new toy or two by then.

so usually how long we can book the room in CPL for???

Just did a quick look on the CPL website, the smaller meeting room at the central library is $25/hr for a minimum of two hours, and then $25/hr after that. So at cheapest it'd be $50/2 hrs.
