Hello all,

I've lurked on these forums for some time now, first time posting. I was just wondering what options do I have for a $300-$400 budget for full sized headphones. Closed or open are fine with me. Amp is not included in the budget, but I will purchase one if I really need to.

I mainly listen to rap and hip hop, but I listen to every other genre as well. I currently have the Audio Technica ATH-M50s. I'm satisfied with them as I've had them for a year already, but am looking for something "extraordinary".

Two options I've been looking at are the Sennheiser HD-650 and the Ultrasone Pro 900.

Please give me more reccomendations! :)

What are the differences between the Ultrasone PRO 2900 and the PRO 900? How much bass do those two headphones produce? Thanks

Many differences between them.

The biggest difference is the midrange, much more forward, clear and detailled. Bass are better but slightly weaker. High are less sibilant, more soundstage... An excellent all rounder headphone.

Pro 750. They have good bass impact.
