Recently purchased a Ming Da MC 84 C07 tube amp and set of closed back Beyerdynamic DT-700/600 ohm headphones. Ended up setting the system up in the man cave, so the reason for closed back cans has evaporated (i.e., wife watching TV upstairs where I was originally going to use the system).
So, would like to try a set of open back cans too. The ones listed in the post title are on the short list. Are there other high impedance cans in the $250-500 range I should be considering?
Already own pair of Audio Technica ATH-AD700, but they are low impedance. However I do like the broader soundstage their open back design yields.
