I need some cheap IEM's for work between $0 and $30 new. Main concerns are good isolation and a good midrange with accurate and detailed vocals, guitars, pianos, etc... I like bass but prefer it light with good extension. Treble I can sacrifice, whatever works. Soundstage and imaging does not matter. Or comfort.

Is the sound magic PL30 any good?

Listening to them right now and from your pre-requisites, they would be right up your alley.  At first I was disappointed with their bass (I'm kinda a basshead), still looking for the bass, might be under the bed...lol...jk....They are very good.  Their clarity and detail makes up for it.

I have the PL30 and the E10.  Seeing what you are asking for, I'd say the new E30 (PL30 replacement) would be a match, based on the reviews of the E30 I've read saying it is an improvement in every regard over the old PL30.  Having the E10 and I can tell you it is better than the PL30 as well but may have more bass than you are looking for.  Otherwise the E10 is a stellar deal at $35.

I've heard both the E10 and E30 and the E30 is much better and more comfortable.

For a $30 budget, you've already gotten some great recommendations. But if for some reason your budget tightens to $15 or less, I would strongly recommend the Meelectronics M9. Great sound for ~$15 and very sturdily build, no problems literally throwing them around. Comfy too, at least for me.
