Is a 3.5mm (1/8 inch) plug to apple lightning connector possible to make? If so, when will they become available?

It's going to have to be more than a cable. There has to be a DAC in there because the lightning connector is all digital.  You could get a lightning to 30 pin adapter and then use a standard LOD. LODs are usually 3.5mm though. I'm not sure what you are looking for since 3.5mm = 1/8 inch not 1/4.

Sorry meant to put 1/8". So I guess I'll stick with a standard 3.5mm to 3.5mm connector then to avoid the bulkiness of a lightning to 30 pin to miniplug. Thanks for your info.
