I have a 3.5mm headphone plug with a tread that allows the fitting of a 1/4 inch plug (yes we all have) So when the 1/8 inch jack is put into the reciever the tread for the 1/4 inch adaptor shows. It looks like the jack is not fully home and leaves about 8mm of the adaptor thread showing. It makes an otherwise nice looking system look a bit agricultural.
Is there a "blank" on the market that can be screwed onto this tread to hide it. I considered putting the the 1/4 inch adaptor in the lathe and turn it down so it screws onto the thread to hide it. I want to avoid that if I can.

Does anyone know of if this is a product?

Cheers
