Hi, I've decided to attempt to build a CMoy. I have never built one before, so I am following this guide: http://tangentsoft.net/audio/cmoy-tutorial/.
I am trying to get as many parts as possible from one place (DigiKey), however they are out of the 3.5mm jack specified in the tutorial, but do have a different 3.5mm jack available. I've been looking over the specs (not that I completely understand them, but rather to find differences) and they seem pretty much the same except for the fact that one (the recommended part) has dual channel switches and the other is just 'w/switch'. They also look different. Does anyone know if I will have a problem substituting one for the other?
