I am very much a noob when it comes to headphones and was told extension cables can lower sound quality. I am running some Shure srh1540's and the stock cable is no where near long enough. Would you expect there to be a noticeable difference if I add an extension cable? I was looking at a QED cable, any reason not to get one of these?
