I've had to sell my system due to a cross-country move, but in about 6 months I'll be able to start my headphone system again.
My headphones will be HD-600's with Cardas and Etymotic ER4s. Source will be Phillips 963a or similar CD player. Wide ranging musical tastes.
I'm thinking the Melos SHA-1, Gilmore V2, Headmaster, custom tube amp like Hirsch's, and Corda HA2 would all be good amps to compare.
What are your thoughts on the above players, and are there other's in the price range (~$500-800) that you think I should listen to? Thanks.
