Hi everybody, I was checking the advanced audio properties for audio devices on my surface pro 3 with windows 10 and I found out that the audio signal is alsways streamed at 16bit/48kHz.

Do you think it's possible to stream at least at 24bit/96kHz? In particular, I'd like to stream bluetooth audio at that bitrate.

Thanks in advance.

my understanding is that bt is limited to 16/44k (maybe 48k): http://soundexpert.org/news/-/blogs/audio-quality-of-bluetooth-aptx

aptX HD is capable of 24bit/48k. It won't be too long I'm sure before we can get at least 96k or even 192k over BT.
