Guys AN16 !! OMG these are so good.I don't know why you all are talking about VSD2S. Those are like "meh". Just another iems though better than VSD3S, IMO.
AN16 are out of these world.I need to A/B them with ER4P/S but I think they give out same level of details with much more musical mids.The sibilance is still there but not annoyingssss in any way.But the details !! Out of this world.And I am in no way hyping it. Only drawback is that, the SS is little thin sounding so you won't enjoy it, if you love thick juicy mids like say RE262.
 
PS : I am at around 10 hours burn-in.

Briefly listened to both AN16 and VSD2S.
 
Overall, wow. For this price, I got the AN16, which might just be my favourite voiced Vsonic IEM yet. Like the GR07, but the mids are slightly more prominent, and it seems to have a bit more depth than the GR07s focus on pure surface texture. Seems more refined, for some reason. Really like it.
 
And the VSD2S reminds me of the VSD5. Equally impressive soundstage and airiness, and it has the same brittle treble texture (can be sibilant). However the VSD2S to me actually sounds more natural, where the VSD5 seems slightly too treble-heavy with most tips. Imagine the VSD5 tuned more like a GR07 rather than referenced to the EX1000. Like the VSD5, the prominent and brittle treble can be controlled well with smaller-bore tips.
 
VSD2S reminds me of the GR07 overall, which might be expected since the VSD1 was supposed to be a GR07-tuned lower priced IEM.
 
What strikes me overall is that VSonic IEMs, no matter the price point, always seem to have precision. No bloated, glossy dynamic driver tunings here. EQ changes and soundstage changes, but the core performance is always controlled, precise and competent.

Just got the VSD2S and AN16 in India, 2S aren't that clear however the AN16 is a revelation! I love what i hear! Need to quickly compare with FXT90 and DN1K when i get time. This is just an out of the box impression, so i am hoping the 2S would improve with some burn in.. But clearly no reason for any sort of disappointment here.

My VSD2S and AN16 are still somewhere on this planet. They supposedly left Singapore 10 - 12 days ago. Funny thing is, I do live in Germany.
Did you guys pick regular or express shipping? I picked regular.

My tracking number just updated, mine are in Nashua New Hampshire, so still a few days now but at least they still aren't halfway around the world in Germany anymore. Probably still won't be here until Friday or Saturday.

Edit: to be clear, my USPS tracking number updated, DHL still says what did before.
