Nice!! seems to have answered my questioned. Though it begs another one; will it be for the VSD2 only since maybe the VSD2S will come later?? Not sure which is coming first or if they can possibly have some of both ready in the first batch/es.
That's why I, and others, Mochill I'm talkin' bout you , will get the more balanced VSD2S. Always like one of the R02 versions I had for a while. Lots of personality and quite engaging so I promised I would try the next iteration of the 2 series. Just don't want the bass focused one.
Well, the sound is too early to predict and we'll have answers in couple of days when we'll have them in our hands, if Vsonic launch them per announed.ment.....Hope these VSD2 series will have their peaky treble trimmed and emphasized on mids retaining the bass,like vsd3S/GR07s given its price tag and thats more than ENUFF, just me sayin.
The GR07 performs admirably in the $200 bracket but definitely not anything more or less. I will am curious on what VSonic can bring to their flagship model.

What's so special about this preorder? : Preorder a VSD2 or VSD2S on that day and get a special Vsonic iem- The AN16 for FREE! The AN16 uses a GR06 shell and houses a GR07 driver. It is valued at around SGD 100 by Vsonic.
The AN16 is specially created to commemorate Vsonic's 16th anniversary and will only be available when you preorder a VSD2 or VSD2S on the said day.

VSD2S is on this pre-order so that is good but GR07 driver?? Thought it was a new driver or version of the driver. Won't complain for free though but not sure of the point of going through the effort/expense of putting an old housing and driver together. Conflicting info already possibly? EX driver or not I'm there on a VSD2S.
