A brief translation as a native Chinese speaker:
New products VSD2, VSD2S are planned to be released on March 18 17:00 on Tianmao. There will be only 2000 sets available with a price of 199 CNY (literally less than 40 USD). With the order, you will get another pair of VSONIC 16th anniversary special earphones, which shares the same design as GR06 but with new drivers.
New products will be fully released to the market in early April.
There's still a long time until the release of VSD7 and VSD9. We are planning to put out a GR07 special edition for new tasting, which shares the same colors from GR07 BUT uses the same drivers from VSD9! It comes with two different versions of 50 ohm and 200 ohm. This product will be cheaper than VSD9, the flagship is planned to be released only with about 300 sets totally. The price would be around 2399 CNY (~400 USD) for the 50 ohm version and 4999 CNY (~820 USD) for the 200 ohm version.

Its only for local buyers on 03/18 sale from that site not to global sales by April......not sure they have FW agents like taobao to dispatch outside ML china either......anyone who bought there outside China (intl buyers) cld chime in.

Thanks for the link! I like the VSD2 look as far as housing, cable and plug best so far of the new designs. VSD2S is certainly one I'll take a flyer on.
 
Extreme longshot but wonder if any of the exporters, Penon or LMUE, will get a few of the special offer GR06 housed phones. Pretty sure they probably want to keep those domestic but would be cool to get a crack at them. Penon would be a local buyer perhaps??
 
So, how many of you guys are interested in an $800 Vsonic?
 
I would hope there is a lot more to the $800 vs. the $400 versions. Not like the different impedance GR04's. Doubt you can just add impedance to the cheaper model as a work around Curious to see the differences that double the price and it not be a totally different model. Don't think we've ever seen that before.

The housing of the VSD2 does look very handsome! Definitely better than the diamond inspired VSD3/5. The cable and the plug also seems to be improved (at least in the pictures). I wonder what kind of sound signature they are going for this time.
