I'm looking for a decent portable dap to use for everyday use. So far There aren't much that are in this price range unless I look for older models which I don't mind. I saw a used iBasso DX50 and I'm wondering is it worth getting it or should I look for something newer that has a better sound qualities?

I'd suggest the Sony NW-A40 series. Clarity trumps even Fiio's X5 II in my opinion. Pairs very nicely with my Phillips Fidelios.
