New Head-Fier
My current at home headphones are the HE 500s. I'm looking for a pair of IEMs that would contrast that a bit so I can have a bit of variety in my gear.
Some info and criteria:
- I will be using these primarily on the go but do intend using them at home as well as a "break" from my HE500s from time to time.
- replacable cable would be a nice to have but not a must.
- As long as it's not a very "in your head" sound it's fine. I don't need a super wide soundstage.
- My current travel earbuds are the bose soundsport wireless. They are quite bass heavy, not saying I'm looking for something similar (in fact I absolutely love the more natural sounding bass on the hifiman) but it's what I'm used to.
- I listen to almost everything except country and rarely metal. I mostly listen to pop, classical, and R+B.
- I'm not used to having the cable go over the ear but that's not a deal breaker
