Dammit, I literally just got a DT770 headband 3 days ago. Oh well.

V3 has a wider design and maybe slightly thicker. Personally I think the V3 looks good if you're rocking jumbo pads or have a GS/PS-1000, whereas the V2 is a great replacement to the cheapo vinyl on the SR series from 60-225. I personally like design of the Grado pads on the RS/325, but the V2 is a nice alternative if you ever need one.

Thanks for the response, as I was having difficulties finding out the difference. As these are for my MS-1is, v2 will probably be better as I want it to look as similar to the vinyl headband as possible.

Are they both made out of lambskin, or only v3?

In for one. Going to be great for my 125s.

Judging from the thread title I think it's safe to assume the V2 is also lambskin.

nice! what colour is available and how do we choose the colour at checkout?

I left a note when through paypal before I submitted payment specifying that I'd like it in black and I just received an email saying a black headband was shipped to me.

I can't wait to throw it on.
