Hello there,
I am currently using an 80 band EQ FFT:32000 for Foobar using the WInamp plugin and am having a latency of 2 seconds.

How much does having a huge latency affect the sound ? I am using an output buffer of 8 seconds. Is that okay ?
Please,any help would be appreciated.

Not at all. It'll merely take longer before any changes to the EQ and such take effect.

To flatten the response of my cans according to the headroom graphs.
You see:the bands i want are available only when i choose 80 bands from the eq's control panel.

The EQ supports upto 256 bands !

IT does support presets for upto 256 bands.YOu can also choose the FFT size for the processing.ITs a winamp plugin though;so you have to use the Winamp DSP plugin for foobar.

The EQ is called RTEQ.
Search for it on google.

Cheers! Happy listening.
