1. What does IC stand for? I notice it's almost like FS but the seller is seeing if there is any interest.

2. Why do people write their email in this fashion... alexUNDERSCOREsolovievAThotmailDOTCOM.

why not just write the email address as is.... @ instead of AT...

There seems to be a reason for it, but I can't quite understand it.

IC = interest check

if you type an address it makes a link, some people want you to put the extra effort in emailing them. my guess.

Same reason you see human input checks (words placed in pictures etc) when signing up for almost any modern site.
