Hey, I am new to the forum and have had no luck with Google. I am looking for a 2 channel stereo receiver with an optical input. I am looking to spend between $200-$400. Any help would be appreciated.

I think the HK 3490 has an optical input. Fall into your price range as well. Not sure any of the other 200-400$ stereo receivers have an optical input. I would rather pick a 200$ 3390 and an outboard DAC for the remaining 200$ though.

HK3490. I have one on hand for $200 if you're considering it. Upgraded my Emotiva gear so I no longer need it.

Thanks. I am not really looking for anything special, or an outboard dac. I have some tower speakers lying around, and just needed a 2 channel receiver. I wanted the optical input if I ever decided to run my soundcard to it.
